Mini golf idea (1p-5p)
Sia possible inflatable bounce house
She needs to know where she would be set up for state inspection clearances, safety, and
insurance
She has other equipment if the bounce house will not work

Rob talked with the businesses on Columbia Ave in regards to the events this year – Bobby’s Jewelers and End of the
Road would prefer that we do not close all of Columbia. Possible barrier at the “turn around”.
Lisa Brunermer – Confirmed that the events do have a positive effect on her business whether it be increased foot traffic
or just discovering the shop. She had a great question about possible GoG 8pm end time extension because it’s still so
busy at 8pm. Group came to the conclusion that the reason for the 8pm end time is because volunteers are hard to
come by especially for late clean-up, it’s family oriented, and a school night. May be able to extend to 9pm in summer
months.
GoG will not be every 3rd Thursday this year.
May 16 (super heros) , June 20th (60s & 70s), July 11th (Christmas in July), August 15th (Football Tailgate),
September 12th (80s & 90s)
Possible VBA donation bucket at the Sia room at their March 23rd ticketed event.
Easter Bunny Fundraiser for the VBA – March 24th (not to be advertised until after March 10th)
Possibly change our fundraiser event to not be an easter event. There are a lot of Easter events in Vandergrift
VBA CAN meeting is on Monday 2/19 Until the Whole World Knows Ministry at 6pm
CAN events were the perfect addition to the VBA
New business: Pawsitive Pet Grooming – recently opened a pet grooming shop on Grant Ave. She came to the VBA’s
Educational Series about opening a new business. She was told about the open store front by Board member, Rae Ann
Bruner at the event. She opened shop a few months later.
Meeting adjourned.
